Meetings

We'd like to extend an open invitation to anyone and everyone who is considering joining us or is simply curious about the club.  All ages are welcome, as are all levels of photographers from novice to pro.  Even if you don't have a camera, use  your phone......no judgement, only support, inspiration and friendship.

The Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. 

Next meeting:

Our first meeting of the year will be held at our regular club meeting venue - Methodist Hall, Stoke.
  • Bring ONE photo that you've taken in 2025 and that you like.  Can be a print or stored on your phone....doesn't matter
  • Bring a pen...
  • Speaker - John Miles - new competition structure
  • Lots of time for catch-up and chat

Coming up:

​Monday 24th February

​Out & About - Boulder Bank​​
  • Meet at the carpark, Boulder Bank Drive at 6.30pm (note earlier start)
  • High tide: 8.04pm. 
  • Sunset at 8.17pm
  • Bring tripod if you have one
  • We'll adjourn to the Sprig & Fern, Hardy St at the end of the evening.
  • In the event of bad weather.......wear a rain jacket and bring a brolly!
COVID CAUTION
We ask club members, visitors & guest speakers NOT to attend meetings if you have any symptoms or are feeling unwell.

If you attend a meeting and subsequently test positive for covid please email [email protected] and we will alert others who had attended.

2025 National Convention
​Volunteers meeting
There will be a Convention volunteer meeting very soon.....  Some people have already expressed interest in volunteering  and some may not have volunteered yet!  All Club members are welcome to attend.
Date:  Monday 27th January
Venue:  Methodist Hall, 94 Neale Avenue, Stoke
Time:  7.00pm
Jobs to consider include:
  • Assisting with setting up of desks, banners, signs etc  
  • Staffing the Registration Desk (Irene Buchan is co-ordinating this)
  • Help with hanging Honours prints, Interclubs and National Salon and taking down prints
  • Leaders/ Hosts for Field Trips
  • Possible car pooling for FTS
  • Transport for speakers
  • Direct delegates to location of Workshops, introduce presenters, acknowledge trade partners if involved in Workshop, ensure safety

Banquet: 
  • Decorate tables and remove at end
  • Position Banners PSNZ and CRK

Sunday:
  • Team to take down Honours sets
  • Assist in packaging and returning sponsors/trade loaned goods​
